Carlo José Quinones
Carlo José Quinones (they/he) is a queer poet and visual artist from the Philippines. The second child of Celia and Eduardo Quinones, Carlo moved to Peterborough in 2012.
“I like to swim, dance, and take care of plants. I like to bike, hike, and go on road trips. I’m an Aries sun with a Cancer Moon and Ascendence. On my spare time I like to write or play video games or garden. My art is about migration, femininity, my grandmother, hurt, and pain. It’s challenging, provoked, and emotional.”
